Afro Meet Talk: Looking Back at “Artist or Atmosphere?”

· Afro Meet · 👁 37

On 3 November 2026, the second Afro Meet Talk brought its community together on TikTok around one question: "Are we paying for the artist or the atmosphere?" The discussion was followed, from 10 pm, by a dedicated segment where promoters introduced their events.

Artist or Atmosphere? A Look Back at Afro Meet Talk

African nightlife: does a party need a headline artist?

The theme explored the role of live artists, the importance of DJs and how much time guests have to dance. What makes people choose an African party: the line-up, a live performance or the overall atmosphere?

Joining Goldoni from Afro Meet were Bryce Ngatchou, DJ Franckey, Christelle Lombo and DJ Archimède Premier, with Melissa Art moderating the conversation.
